Founder Honored

The founder of The DesOrmeaux Foundation honored in the renaming of the home goods resale store. Brenda DesOrmeaux’s 15 grandchildren and great grandchild call her “MiMi”, so it is fitting that her legacy take on her endearing name. Pictured on MiMi’s Attic sign is Brenda’s mother holding her as a baby. Another celebration of life.

MiMi’s Attic is filled with 100% donated items that range from furniture and small appliances to housewares and bedding. The purpose for the resale store is two-fold; It serves our maternity home residents and it is open to the public with merchandise tagged at give-away pricing.

MiMi’s Attic is one of four ministries that provides women with educational, medical and professional resources as they look to the future with renewed hope while processing their needs, emiotions and choices.
