Founder Honored
The founder of The DesOrmeaux Foundation honored in the renaming of the home goods resale store. Brenda DesOrmeaux’s 15 grandchildren and great grandchild call her “MiMi”, so it is fitting that her legacy take on her endearing name. MiMi’s Attic is filled with 100% donated items that range from furniture and small appliances to housewares and bedding. The purpose for the resale store is two-fold; It serves our maternity home residents and it is open to the public with merchandise tagged at give-away pricing.
MiMi’s Attic is one of four ministries that provides women with educational, medical and professional resources as they look to the future with renewed hope while processing their needs, emotions and choices.

The Desormeaux Foundation, Inc is dedicated to defending human life at all stages of development, born and unborn. That is, the infant in the womb, the elderly, the handicapped, the homeless and all who are threatened by our present culture of death.
